Obituary of Richard Blaine Kershner

Richard Blaine Kershner, 72, of Stonewood, passed away on April 2, 2016, at his residence. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Roberta Kershner DeBor and Richard Carl Kershner. Richard was born MR on September 27, 1943 and lived most of his life in custodial care, the last 27 of those years were spent at Rescare the Clarksburg Agency. For the last 25 years of that care he resided at Stonewood Group Home in Stonewood. Richard leaves behind his loving sister/guardian, Becky Duckworth and her husband Skip Duckworth. Richard was loved and will be remembered by many, as he had a special way about him. Richard was a resident of WV for 71 of his 72 years. Richard will be buried at the Bridgeport Cemetery where his grandparents Raymond and Jessie D. Valentine and other family members are laid to rest.
