I had the pleasure of seeing Sue art our 50th reunion welcome gathering in September 2016. Later in the year we also got together and spent some quality time with Sue at a luncheon at Peter's Place along with several of our other classmates. I learned of her illness at that time and she was remarkably positive at that time. I'm not sure I have that much courage. We attended Grade School together and I loved her spirit and her athletic abilities. As the years progressed, she continued to excel in sports and I headed to cheerleading. I have never forgotten my bonds of friendship from Markham...she was a fond memory and I am happy I got a chance to renew that feeling with her. My deepest sympathy to the whole family...I am sure she will be missed. I will pray that the fond memories soon replace the pain you are all carrying.
