Obituary of Betty Lee Stevens

Betty Lee Stevens, 94, of Baxter passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1922, daughter of the late Festus and Pearl Satterfield. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Stevens.

Betty is survived by her son, Robert Stevens and his wife Mary of Baxter; a daughter, Carol Stevens Bartges and her husband Stanley of Baxter; numerous grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Bienkoski.

Betty loved reading, playing games and spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville, WV 26588, on Monday, September 11, 2017, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating.
