Obituary of Joseph "Mike" Jones

Joseph “Mike” Jones, 64, of Rivesville, West Virginia gained his wings on Friday, August 25, 2017 at his residence.  He was born July 16, 1953 in Fairmont, a son of the late M. Allen and Mary Ellen Bartholow Jones.  He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Audrey Wilson Jones.

Mike and Audrey were former owners of the Sak-Pak in Grant Town.  Mike was an avid biker and loved to ride his Harley Davidson.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory his three daughters, Holly Johnson Draper, Vanessa Johnson, and Carrie Jones Harvey, his six grandchildren, Amber Shaw, Brycen Draper, Savanna Law, Emma Harvey, Michael Harvey, and Calvin Harvey, his three sisters, Linda Jones Holston and her husband John, Cynthia “Cindy” Jones, and Jacqueline “Jackie” Jones Bowers, his sisters-in-law, Marge Jones, Stephanie Wilson and her husband Dick, and Pam Jarvis and her husband Mike brothers-in-law, Bobby Wilson and his wife Ginger, and Kevin Wilson and his wife Barb.  He is also survive by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special friend Daniel Richmond.

 IN addition to his parents, Mike was preceeded in death by his brother Dan Jones and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Corny and Zela Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 1PM until 8PM and on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 10AM until 11AM.  The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11AM with Pastor Duane Stiles officiating.  Interment will follow in the McCurdysville Cemetery, McCurdysville, WV.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.FORDFUNERALHOMES.com
