Obituary of Ramona Sue Reese

Ramona Sue Reese, 71, of Main St., Rivesville, WV, passed away peacefully August 10, 2017 in United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV.   A limb has fallen from our family tree, we keep hearing a voice that says grieve not for me.   Remember the best times, laughter and songs.   The good life I lived while I was strong.   Ramona was the loving daughter of the late David and Gertrude Taylor Bright.   She was also preceded in death by her husband Clifford “Junior” Reese, a granddaughter Ashley Marie Summers, and a brother David Bright.   Ramona is survived by a daughter and her husband, Donna and Brad Yates of Sophia, NC,   a son James Rolland Summers of Rivesville, WV,   2 grandchildren, John Williams and Kathleen of Fairmont, WV and Kevin and his wife Stacey Williams of San Angelo, TX,   a great grandchild, Zoey Williams of San Angelo, TX,   4 sisters, Elizabeth Towns of Rivesville, WV, Nancy Scott of Fairmont, WV, Sandra and her husband Ray Summers of Rivesville, WV, and Debbie Yelich of Rivesville, WV,   4 brothers and their spouses, Gary and Vickie Bright of Rivesville, WV, William “Bud” Bright and Sharon of Hagan’s Community, Terry and Cathy Bright of Rivesville, WV, and Barry Bright of Rivesville, WV,   and several nieces and nephews.   Ramona was a Pentecostal by faith.   She was employed at Westinghouse Corp, Fairmont, WV for 10 years, working on the lamp factory line.   She was a licensed realtor with Century 21, and a medical assistant with Health South in Fairmont, WV.   She also worked at various restaurants in the Fairmont area including Say Boys, The Broken Egg, and Barbara Joyce of Bellview Community.   Mrs. Reese has chosen cremation services.   Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper St., Rivesville, WV are handling funeral services.    A memorial service will follow at a later date.   Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV.
