Obituary of Devin Ray Langford

Devin Ray Langford, 22, of Boothsville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at his home. He was born on February 17, 1995 and graduated from Robert C. Byrd High School where he was a member of the football and basketball teams.

He was employed at Prine’s Drywall and Painting and he was a member of the Laborer’s International Union, Local 1085. He also worked at ATR Performance when he was younger.

Devin loved racing his dirt bike and his riding family. He was a member of the AMA and raced GNCC, NECXC and the Mountain State Hare Scramble Series where he was currently in first place and was very proud of that. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Devin enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Devin is survived by his parents, Terry and Vonda Berry; his sister, Carrissa Prine and her husband Billy; his sister, Bridget and her husband Josh; his nieces, Kiersten Prine and Kaylin Pyle; his nephew and riding buddy, Ezra Prine; grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is also survived by his biological parents, Crystal Langford and Jamie Little; as well as several relatives and friends who loved him and many riding buddies including those from Prine’s Riding Compound.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 9a.m. until 11a.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at 11a.m. A private committal service will take place at a later time.
