Obituary of Derick Michael Linear

Derick Michael Linear, 36, of Highland Dr., Fairmont, WV, passed away early Sunday morning in Fairmont Regional Medical Center in Fairmont, WV.   He was born June 30, 1980 in Morgantown, WV, son of the late Richard and Freda “Hager” Linear.   Survivors include his children, 2 sons, Domenic Linear and Jacob Linear, both of Fairmont, WV,   5 daughters, Aubree and Meigha Sloan, Both of Fairmont, WV, Sierah Host of Preston County, WV, and Riley and Danika Linear of Phillipi, WV,   His fiancé, Cierra Sloan of Fairmont, WV,   2 sisters, Frances Billups of Fairmont, WV and Stella Lawrence of Fairmont, WV,   2 brothers, Willie and Judy[WF1]  Billups of Fairmont, WV and Jason and Jennifer Billups of Grafton, WV, and several nieces and nephews.   Derick was a Protestant by faith.   He was an independent contractor in the Marion County area.   Derick very much enjoyed family activities, fishing, and loved riding his motor bike.   Derick’s  family have chosen cremation services.   Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV from 11am until 1pm on Tuesday.   A memorial service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, June 6, 2017,  at 1pm with Pastor Larry Collins officiating.  A private burial will follow at a later date in Mt.
