I have never in my life met a more extraordinary woman. My grandmother taught me I could do anything I wanted to do.... Just had to "try it sugar!"
It wasn't until...now that I'm writing this.. That I realize that she is alot of the reason I am who I am today. She taught me to dream, and dream BIG! Not to care what other thought and do what I knew in my heart was right.
It very sad to lose touch with those your are related to. But there's not much you can really do in certain situations.
I regret not seeing her much past my adolescents.
I regret not seeing her after grandpa died. I regret not seeing her while the Alzheimer's danced around in her head.
Lots of regrets.....
But even tho the regrets weigh on my heart, the wonderful memories and love will over power it all. Those things I will never forget. She was a very bright light in the world. Now she is joined with her love, her life... Grandpa Fred to shine on together.
Rest easy lost bird, For now u are found.
