Obituary of George Karol Keener

George Karol “Bud” Keener, 66, of Fairmont, West Virginia died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 2, 1951 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late William Elbert Keener & Mary Ann Martin Keener. He is survived by his wife Virginia Anne Kenney Keener of Fairmont, WV. He is survived by a brother and sister in law William T. & Marilyn Keener of Winchester, VA, a sister and brother in law Laneen & Robert Stephens of Slidell, LA and several nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. Mr. Keener was a former employee at Ruby Memorial Hospital Facilities Engineering Department. He was Methodist by faith and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bud enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He earlier in life enjoyed riding his motorcycle with family and friends.
