Obituary of William "Wayne" Shoemaker

William “Wayne” Shoemaker, 38, of Morgantown passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017. Wayne was born in Fairmont on June 8, 1978, a son of William and Marylene Butler Shoemaker of Rivesville. In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by his children, Jacob Wayne Shoemaker and Skylar Shoemaker; two brothers, Brandon Shoemaker and Matthew Shoemaker; his girlfriend, Kelly Spaug; his former wife, Amy Riggs; 5 nieces and 1 nephew. Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Shoemaker. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville, WV 26588, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. with Evangelist Brent Gallagher officiating.
