Obituary of Nancy Weekley Ball

Nancy Weekley Ball, 95, widow of Paul H Ball died Saturday, January 4, 2025, peacefully at her home in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Born October 8, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Weekley and the late Elizabeth Weekley. She was a devoted loving Mother and Wife. She also took pride in being a homemaker and in everything she did for her children and grandchildren. Nancy loved her family fiercely, especially found her greatest joy in the time she spent with her two granddaughters. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Bailey (Herb) of Sumter, South Carolina and Deena Hayes (Michael) of Bridgeport, West Virginia; two grandchildren, Lyndsay Turner (Carey) and Kady Hayes; one brother, George Weekley (Elda); one step-sister, JoAnn Platt; and three nieces, Linda Weekley, Twila Cumberledge, and Nancy Robertson; and one nephew, Louis Krupp. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Twila Krupp; and her nephew, Billy Krupp. In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, a cremation will take place. At a later date, there will be a private family graveside service at the Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, WV. The family requests any donations be made in Nancy’s memory to St. Jude's.
