Obituary of Terry Allen Coffman

Terry Allen Coffman, 74, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1949. A son to the late Monard and Artola Crouser Coffman. He is survived by bis loving wife of 44 years, Diana Marie Riffle Coffman. In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his children, Scott Allen Coffman of Fairmont, Maria Copeland and her husband Gary of Bridgeport, and Natalie Haught and her husband Brian of Parkersburg, his brothers, Robert Coffman of Fairmont, Danny Coffman of Alabama, his sister, Rhonda Haught of Fairview, four grandchildren, Fletcher Coffman, Hope Copeland, Holly Haught, Bennette Haught, and two great-grandchildren, Graham Coffman, and Raegan Coffman. Terry was a 1968 graduate of Fairview Highschool and was a Methodist by faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Terry went on to become a machinist for Alcan Aluminum/Novelis for over 35 years. He enjoyed golfing at Tygart Lake Golf Course, and was a master wood-carver. Most of all, Terry loved spending quality time with his family and close friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with his wishes, cremations service will occur. A graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11am at the West Virginia National Cemetery with full Military Rites in honor of Terry’s service.
