Obituary of Donald "Don" Frances Choquette

Donald “Don” Frances Choquette, 79, of Clarksburg, passed away at the Genesis Pierpont Center, Fairmont Campus on Friday, August 23, 2024. He was born in Bristol Connecticut on December 9, 1944. A son to the late Willaim and Elizabeth (Langer) Choquette. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Tina Choquette. Don retired after 22 years of service with the Barnes Group where he was a Leadman in manufacturing car parts. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and lived his life to the fullest. In his spare time, he took pride in restoring his 1944 Ford Coupe as well as restoring lawn tractors. In addition to his wife, Don was survived by his son, D.J. Choquette and his companion Kathy of Canton, Connecticut, his step-son, David Odevich and his wife Mary of Indiana, his step-daughter, Justine Odevich of Clarksburg, WV, his brother, James Choquette and his wife Claudette of Bristol Connecticut, along with six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Choquette. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, West Virginia 26554. In accordance with Don’s wishes, cremations service will occur.
