Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends. My mom and her were close neighbors. She always talked to mom about her family. All my life, until we sold the house after my mom passed away, was my family a neighbor to the Egress family. When I was in junior high, I’d wear my locker key around my neck. Joyce would alway joke with me asking if that was the key to my heart and what girl at school I gave it to when I wasn’t wearing it. We would sometimes go swimming in her pool. She always bought stuff we were selling for band or any other organization from us. The last time I spoke with Joyce was when we were selling the house. She said she only ever knew the home lived in by the Dzielski family. I could tell she was disappointed to see my mom have to move away. Now I can only guess of the stories they are sharing in heaven today.
