Obituary of Andrew "Andy" Mugnano

Andrew “Andy” Mugnano, 60, of Fayetteville, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the WVU Medicine Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was born July 27, 1963, in Fairmont, a son of the late John L. and Dolly J. (Dalton) Mugnano. Andy was Catholic by faith and a 1981 graduate of East Fairmont High School. He proudly owned and operated a local pawn shop in Martinsburg and worked as a delivery contractor with 84 Lumber. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping with his sons and fishing. He was friendly to everyone he encountered and was known for his humorous personality. Andy is survived by his two sons, Anthony “Lenny” Mugnano and his companion Tabitha Cox of Fayetteville, and Thomas “Tommy” Mugnano Baker of Michigan, two brothers, Thomas Mugnano and his wife Cindy of Clarksburg, and John Mugnano of Tunnelton, one brother-in-law, Charles Baker of Macomb, MI, as well as three grandchildren, Lilly Mugnano, Mackenzie Mugnano, and Rae Ann Cox. In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Mugnano Baker. In memory of his mother and sister, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3508 Staunton Avenue SE, Charleston, WV 25314. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. In accordance with Andy’s wishes, cremation services will occur.
