Obituary of Elda "Colleen" Jurasko

Elda “Colleen” Hall Jurasko, 83, of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the John Manchin Sr. Healthcare Center. She was born in Fairmont on March 17, 1940, a daughter of the late Leroy Edward Hall and Mildred Brown Hall. Colleen is survived by her five children: Carolyn and her husband Frank Cosner of Fairmont, Michael Edward Jurasko and his wife Angie Starcher of Florida, Cheri and her husband Rick Littrell of Kentucky, Steve and his wife Michelle Jurasko of Fairmont, and Jennifer Cane of Fairmont; her ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Colleen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Jurasko; sister, Carol Lee Parker; and half-brother, Clarence “Skip” Davis. Colleen was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School, worked at Westinghouse, and was methodist by faith. She enjoyed bowling, crafts, puzzles, traveling, gardening, and bird watching. The family would like to thank the staff at the John Manchin Healthcare Center and WVU Hospice for all their loving care and support. Jones Chapel, 1410 Country Club Road, Fairmont, WV 26554, on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Toothman officiating.
