Obituary of James Lee Maze II

James Lee Maze II, 68, of Fairmont, passed away at the Genesis Pierpont Healthcare Center on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born on August 30, 1955, a son to the late Ralph and Roberta Maze. He is survived by his children, James Maze and his companion Ashley Jones, Alyssa Maze, and Mirranda Godfrey, and his grandchildren, Autumn Godfrey, Ember Maze, and Jaxon Maze. In addition to his parents, He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Lee Maze, and William Edward Maze. James worked as machinist for the better part of his career and proudly served his country as a United States Marine. James was a lover of nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading. He had a passion for the arts, especially literature. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford Funeral, Ford Chapel 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends may be received on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 4p.m. until 8p.m. and on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 10a.m. until 11a.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11a.m. with Reverand Stanley Merrifield officiating.
