Obituary of Kenneth Michael Plum

Kenneth Michael Plum, 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolly Kozlowski of Greenwood, WV. He was also preceded in death by his father, Harold Plum and his stepmother, Eunice Plum, both of Fairmont, WV. Kenneth was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold “Pete” Plum of Tucson, AZ. Survivors include his wife, Rose Ann Clark Plum; sons, Michael Plum and Karen Brusina of Rivesville and Larry Plum of Fairmont; sister, Carol and brother-in-law, Charles Powers of Fairmont; sister-in-law, Barbara Plum of Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stephen Bennington and wife Anna Marie of Barrackville; and brother-in-law, John and sister-in-law, Sandra Koval of Fairfield, OH. Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 until 1965 on the guided missile destroyer, US Hoel as a radar technician. He also took interest in electrical engineering and worked at Westinghouse and Philips Lighting. His hobbies included go carts, scuba diving, and gardening. Kenneth was a member of the Baptist Temple and was a choir member for over 50 years. Kenneth is sadly missed by his furry baby, Wendy. In accordance with his wishes, Kenneth will be cremated and there will be no public services. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554.
