Obituary of James "Jim" Vincent Frisenda

James “Jim” Vincent Frisenda, Jr., of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1947 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late James Vincent Frisenda and the late Anna Wanda Laheta Frisenda Slatt. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Charlotte Dawn Satterfield Frisenda. Jim was a Christian by faith and read his Bible daily. He retired in 2012 from Swanson Industries, formerly Morgantown Machine and Hydraulics with over 30 years of service as a machinist and foreman. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and could regularly be found in his yard either working in the garden or tending to his flower beds. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, often dragging them outside with him. He was an animal lover at heart, and always had a canine companion with him throughout his life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Josh and his wife Ashley Frisenda, his daughter, Dawn Frisenda, his grandchildren, Cheyenne Braden, Gary Braden, Dominick Frisenda, Hadley Frisenda, Mila Frisenda, and Maverick Frisenda, and his sister, Diana and her husband James Stuck, all of Fairmont. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Paul David and his wife Patricia Satterfield of Cheapeake, VA, and Tim and his wife Angie Satterfield of Atlanta, GA, as well as several nieces and nephews, including Aaron Stuck Cierra Davant, Lori Irby, and Scott Satterfield.
