Obituary of Amica "Mickey" Ann Post

Amica (Mickey) Ann Post, 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at her home. She was the only child of the late Wilbur “Bill” and Elizabeth Criss Digman. Mickey was preceded in death by her late husband Joseph William “Bill” Post in 1995. Mickey was a long-time resident of the Bridgeport Community. She was an active and faithful member of the Simpson Creek Baptist Church until illness. Mickey is survived by her three daughters and families, Stephanie Post Philips and her husband Ken; Melanie Post Whetzel and her husband Scott; and Valerie Post and her companion Kevin Sexton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren Philips Graham and her husband Andrew, Devin Philips, Alex Philips; and Nathan Whetzel and his wife Hayley; as well as great grandchildren, Benjamin and Noah Graham and Ava Whetzel; and extended family, Rosanna Paletta (Ava Whetzel’s Mother). The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330. A private service will occur at a later date.
