Obituary of Millie Talkington

Millie Talkington, 94, of Fairmont passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024. She was born to the late Scott and Anna Wilhelm on April 24, 1929 in Listonburg, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband William Talkington, as well as her previous husband, John Pasco. Millie was a Methodist by faith. She and her first husband, John Pasco, were the former owners of the Village Dairy on Country Club Road. After several years there, she worked for her best friend, Olive Hough at the Colony Shop on Locust Avenue. After the closing of the Colony Shop, Millie was a fashion consultant in direct sales for Doncaster Clothing, where she continued to dress her clients in fine fashion for several years. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Knotts of Fairmont and Patty Cutrone of Austin, Texas, grandchildren Lisa Simpson (David) of Stuart, Florida, Gregory Knotts (Mandy) of Worthington, Christopher Cutrone (Susanna) of Austin, Texas, and Cameron Cutrone (Lauren), of Kyle, Texas. She was blessed with four great grandchildren, Madison Knotts, Nicholas, David, and Sam Cutrone. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings and her sons-in-law, Wayne Knotts and Lee Cutrone, Jr. Her family would like to thank the staff of Pleasant Acres Christian Haven for their loving and excellent care, and Amedisys Hospice for their comfort and care during her final days. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will take place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date with burial to follow at the Mt Carmel Cemetery in Fairmont, WV.
