Mr. Hohmann was a wonderful person. He always remembered details about people. I saw him almost every day of high school as he was my homeroom teacher in addition to taking his creative writing class my first year. He always had little stories and commentary to add to happenings around (from announcements to antics of other students.) I remember how excited he was with Monday, his cat who he let eat lemon bars. I brought him homemade ones a few times, and he did enjoy them. He was excited when I went to a university with a Jesuit legacy. There are fond memories to recall. I certainly will think of him when I see The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a print in his classroom, lemon bars, and latin phrases. He was truly an avid reader and a person that is unforgettable. My condolences to his family and friends. May his memory be a blessing. And from the Jesuits, Eternal rest grant to them, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
