Obituary of William "Bill" "Freddie" Frederick Bragg

William "Bill" "Freddie" Frederick Bragg, of Kingmont WV, passed peacefully from this life on April 29, 2023. Bill was born on October 12, 1931 in Braxton County, WV to Russell and Carrie Singleton Bragg. The family moved to Chunks Run, Rivesville, WV where Bill grew up part of a family of 12 brothers and sisters. Bill is survived by sons: William "Bob" Bragg (Jonnett), Rivesville and Jerry Bragg (Karla), Kingmont; and daughter-in-law, Patricia (Patty) Bragg, Millersville. Grandchildren: Jason Bragg, Shannon (Doug) Mercer, Desiree Hardway and Carrie (Izaiha John) Bragg. Great grandchildren: Drew Mercer, Cameron Mercer, Regan Hardway, Renzy Hardway and Aria John. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith Parrack Bragg and his son, Philip "Phil" Bragg. Bill was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Air Force in Washington DC and at Nouasseur Air Force Base, Africa. He was well known for his excavating business and was, also, employed by Quality Hydraulics where he was a welder and machinist for over 30 years. Bill loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and very much enjoyed working in his garden with his prized tomatoes. In honoring Bill's wishes he will be cremated.
