Obituary of Marilyn (Piscitelli) Ice

Marilyn (Piscitelli) Ice, 67, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1956, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Frank and Eula Armontrout Piscitelli. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert “Bob” Ice. Mrs. Ice was a graduate from Fairmont Senior High School. Upon graduating, she attended Fairmont State College, where she obtained an associate degree. She also attended Alderson Broadus University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Nathan Ice of Fairmont, and Jason (Brianna) Ice of Morgantown; one sister, Marlene (Bob) Morris; two grandchildren, Henry and Caroline Ice; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She worked as a registered nurse at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Care Management. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, counted cross stitching, antiquing, and traveling in the motor home. She found great joy in spending time with her family. She loved her grandkids and was an amazing wife, mom, grandmother, and friend to all. The Ice family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends will be received on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 2-8 pm and on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 10-11 am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday with Reverend Junius Lewis presiding. Entombment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum.
