Obituary of Dreama Dawn Turkett

Dreama Dawn Turkett, 74, of Fairmont, West Virginia and formerly of Hurricane, WV passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born May 22, 1948 in Welch, WV a daughter of the late Robert Estil Blevins and Ruth Lettie Belcher Blevins. She was preceded in death by her husband Huel Dean Turkett. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Holly Turkett & Tony Michalski of Fairmont, WV, two grandchildren Anthony Michalski and Sydney Michalski, four brothers James Blevins, Calvin Blevins, Tim Blevins & George Blevins, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters Bobbie Nunley & Linda Easham. Mrs. Turkett was a retired employee for the American Electric Power. She was the former owner of Utility Cost Cutters of West Virginia and had recently worked for the Marion County Parks & Recreation at the Wave Pool in East Marion Park. Dreama enjoyed music, reading, traveling to the beach, and spending time with her grandson Anthony. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for family and friends at a later time.
