Obituary of Jeffrey Charles Boyd

Jeffrey Charles Boyd, 58, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born on May 19, 1964, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Charles R. and Donna M. Sharp Boyd. Mr. Boyd was a graduate of East Fairmont High School. He is survived by two sisters, Sr. Patricia Boyd, O.C.D and Cathy Barnes (Lynn) one brother, Kevin Boyd; several nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, Derek Boyd, Brittany Weatherholtz, Ali Weatherholtz, Emma Weatherholtz, Dylyn Barnes, Nolyn Barnes, Raelyn Barnes, Siera Cooker (Dave), Landyn Stemple, Adryan Stemple, Alison Yandle (Jay), and as well as several step nieces and nephews. He was a former employee of Mylan and Walmart for many years. He also served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking his family and their friends to various fun and educational events, dancing, and socializing with others. He never knew a stranger. He would lend a helping hand, whenever he could. He was known as “Uncle Jeff” to all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one nephew, Justin Charles Boyd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish America, c/o Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. The Boyd family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will take place. Friends will be received on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 2-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. The memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Reverend Jim Zinn presiding.
