Dear Janet, Ronnie, Daniel, Carolyn & Bush, Families,
Please know Pat and I were so shocked and saddened upon reading of Bill's untimely death. We were classmates at Webster Springs High School '60 and dear friends over the years. Bill was a teammate in football & our basketball stats/scorebook guy and we shared other school organizations with him. We saw each other at ramp dinners, school reunions, cookouts at Hersh's place on the Tygart River and during many phone calls as he advised me on care of my dogs. Last saw him & Janet this past summer. He was a great friend, patriot and person who was well-liked and respected by all who made his acquaintance. This is a sad time! Thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences to all. Jim & Pat Marsh
Bill was a member of the Army, LRRP Ranger family and he was loved by all of us. He will be greatly missed by all his brothers and their families. He made us laugh and cry and share the stories about the hell that was Vietnam. Bill never got the hero’s welcome home that he deserved when he came back from Vietnam badly injured. But I know that God has welcomed him home with the love and peace of His son, Jesus. Vaya Con Dios, my sweet friend. We love you.

Doc was our family Vet for many years until his retirement. He came to my Grandmothers farm to tend to a sick Mare I had back in 1983, so that is how we met. He took care of our many dogs and cats through the years. His grandchildren were in the band and choir at East Fairmont with my daughter, and being Janet's cousin we got to see each other at school functions. You will be missed Sir.
Doc was a great guy. Our class loved him as our Instructor at Fairmont State College Veterinary Technology Program back in the 90's. Thanks for the memories Doc! Continued Prayers for his family.
Dr. Carpenter was my professor at FSU Vet Tech Program. He was a very good teacher and taught me all that I know about Animal Medicine. He was a very kind man with a great sense of humor. Condolences to his family! A lot of great memories. Thank you Doc, you will be greatly missed!
