Obituary of Donald Maurice Kincell

Donald Maurice Kincell, 83, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 23, 1940, in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late Maurice and Lydia Malone Kincell. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Konya Kincell. Mr. Kincell is also survived by two sons, Donald Kincell and his wife Kimberly of Morgantown, and Andrew Kincell of Fairmont. In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Kincell Slate and her husband Johnny of Fairmont. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He retired as a coal miner from the Miami Coal Company in Philippi, WV. He was also a jack of all trades, where he enjoyed “tinkering”. In his spare time, he enjoyed flying model airplanes. He is preceded in death by one brother, Robert L. Kincell. The Kincell family has entrusted the care and arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends will be received on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 9 AM- 12 PM. A private family graveside service will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, 1290 Fairmont Rd, Morgantown, WV 26501 with Pastor Bill Toothman, Jr. presiding.
