Obituary of Susan Louise Davis Vannote

Susan Louise Davis Vannote, 66, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, February 20th, 2023 at her residence. Susan was born on July 16th, 1956 in Union Town, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Jesse J., and Heddie M. Neddley Davis. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Vannote, Sr. She attended Bridgeton High School in Bridgeton, New Jersey, and was a Homemaker in her own home. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her Facebook games, gambling, and red truck memorabilia. Above all, Susan’s life was her family. She loved cook-outs, sitting on the back porch watching her grand kids play, family road trips, and family gatherings in general. She is survived by her son, Leonard Snyder and his wife Sherry of Huntersville, North Carolina, her daughter, Jennifer Stevens and her husband Zachary of Fairmont, two brothers, Robert Neddley and Jessee Davis, Jr., three sisters, Jennette Cassaboon, Betty Young, and Kathy Davis. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Lacie, Quint, Bobby, Isaiah, Crissy, Brandon, Zachary “Junior”, Glen, Madilynn, and Serenity, along with her three great-grandchildren, Silas, Saeran, and A.J. In addition to her loving husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Rispoli. The Vannote family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville, WV 26558.
