I will always treasure Steve’s beautiful soul as I remember how he looked after me along with his beloved family. I especially remember how we got up early every morning and headed out to a military base where metal ladders going up to either water tanks or “huts” we had to remove and install new ones using torch machines. One day, I was standing in the right place at the right time when one huge fire ball of metal went straight down my back and I turned into the best Michael Jackson dance ever. Steve: “Guess you’ll pay attention from now on” as we both laughed our butts off. Watching him do wood art was another great treat to watch as I eventually bought my own burn torch to make wood pictures of birds. Steve taught me more about life along with his family that they will never realize. RIP dear friend. I always had hopes of one day meeting up with all of you dear friends.
