Obituary of Millisa Dawn Moore

Millisa Dawn Moore, 44, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in the Genesis Healthcare Tygart Center. She was born May 17, 1978 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of Phillip Dwayne Moore of Fairmont and Wanita Lou Eller Moore of Fairmont. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Marisa Kay Canfield Layman & Jarrod Layman of Fairmont, two sons Nicholas Cogar & his girlfriend Torre Glover both of Fairmont & Karder Westfall of Fairmont, five sisters and four brother in laws Shauna & Donald Moore of Fairmont, Regina & Allen Wisenbaler of Fairmont, Bobbie & John Perrine of Fairmont, Tina Simes of Fairmont, and Violet & David Walker of Texas, three grandchildren Brentley Layman, Dawson Layman & Ryder Layman and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Chuck Simes, a step son Tyler Cogar and a nephew Michael Willis. Millisa was a hairstylist for Sports Clips in Morgantown, WV. She was a member of the Morgantown Recovery of Hope. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 10 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 noon with Pastor Matt Johnson officiating.
