TO: Florencia and family; our sincere condolences on Jim’s Passing. Jim was both a professional colleague and Dear friend. We first met right after his retirement. We at Mantech e-IC division were developing a computer based customs process at the time for the DOD. Jim became our senior consultant, always a gentleman’s gentleman, confident, knowledgeable about international Customs and he had a way about him that put people at ease.we traveled together to Europe and in particular Germany where we established two processing sites in Cologne and Frankfurt. The project was a huge success for our DOD and for us at Mantech e-IC.
Jim, You and Florencia became Dear friends to Helena and I, our trip to Peru was so special, not because Peru was fascinating but because who we traveled with; you two made the trip pure fun; our many dinners together at our homes particularly the bar on my porch where laughter and drinks were in high supply.
In closing Jim, if you looked up the word “Class” there would be a photo of you my dear friend; always the consummate professional, it did not matter, a waiter, An Admiral, an executive, you treated every one the same with respect, a rare gift, so rest in peace my friend, and know your memory is truly be a blessing.Bob and Helena Kidwell, Brentwood, Califotnia
