Obituary of Rose Mae Angelino

Rose Mae Angelino, 97, of Rivesville, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 5, 1925 in Rivesville, a daughter of the late Frank and Emma Amos Frasico. She was later raised by the late Dominick and Pearl Delarco. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Angelino in 1966. Mrs. Angelino attended St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and of the former Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Greentown. She had served as a salesclerk with the Workngman’s Store with of 50 years of service at both the Fairmont and Middletown Mall locations. She later served with and retired as a clerk from the Marion County Assessor’s Office at the age of 85. Rose was an avid member of the Marion County Democrat Executive Committee and was awarded Democrat of the Year in 2009. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters for over fifteen years and a lifetime member of the Rivesville Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. Rose is survived by her children, John and his wife Sue Angelino of Walkersville, MD, and Ann Stottlemire of Rivesville, her six grandchildren: Toni and Ron Duehring, Kenny Stottlemire, Michelle and Jeff Mullenax, Sheri Angelino, John Angelino, and Robert Fullen, her eleven great-grandchildren: Tyler Stottlemire, Ashley Warnick and her fiancé Dennis Shrewsberry, Kennedy Stottlemire and her companion Ian Vandegrift, Dominick Mullenax and his fiancée Skyler Kropp, Trevor and his wife Brooke Duehring, Cory Duehring, Shelby and and her husband Keith Edwards, Christopher Scrie, Emily Angelino, Ronny and his wife Enya Duehring, and Haley Fullen. She is also survived by her five great-great-grandchildren Ahren, Brantley, Skyler, Trey, and Bryson, her brother Ermine Lowther of Fairmont, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Rose was preceded in death by her three brothers-in-law, Harold Parker, Dale Angelino and Arthur Collins, and her three sisters-in-law, Gloria Anglino and Rose Ann Angelino, and Elouise Lowther, her sisters, Martha Parker and Thelma Collins, and her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Angelino. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588. Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 1PM until 8PM with Vigil Service to be held at 7PM in the funeral home. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 407 Jackson Street, Fairmont on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10 A.M. with Reverend Dr. Joseph Konikattil presiding and assisted by Deacon David Lester.
