Obituary of Pamela Woodson

Pamela Woodson, 68, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her home. She was born November 9, 1954 in Buffalo, New York a daughter of Pastor Jean Mabel Pryor Boyd of Buffalo, N.Y. and the late Reverend John Boyd. She is survived by her husband Edwin Leon Woodson Jr. of Fairmont, WV. She is survived by her children Eric R. Woodson of Fairmont, David E. Woodson of Virginia, Jacob L. Woodson of Fairmont, Jonathan T. Woodson of Fairmont, & Micah C. Woodson of Fairmont, a brother Jonathan Boyd of Buffalo, N.Y., two sisters Theresa Boyd of Buffalo, N.Y. & Freda Snow of Buffalo, N.Y., three foster children David Finnis of Smithfield, PA, Miranda Cool of Morgantown, WV, & Mikuyla Dillow of Lamar, Colorado, three grandchildren Aanalyca M. Woodson, Karina N. Woodson, & Elijah Woodson, her God Daughter Natosha Hickman of Fairmont, and special friends Ginger Black of Fairmont, Tiff Lauzau of Florida, & Bishop Giss of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by a sister Paula Boyd, a son Tyrone K. Woodson and a grandson Eric R. Woodson II. Mrs. Woodson was a homemaker and foster parent to many children throughout her life. She was a member of the Agape Life Ministries in Fairmont, a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School & the West Virginia Business College and also attended Fairmont State College. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Leo Riley officiating.
