It is with great pride that I write this tribute to my best friend's father ... having known this family for 48 years, I have cherished memories. Roman and I used to drink Postum and talk in their kitchen. Roman and Helen were devoted partners and parents. Roman was a tough guy but still very much a sweetheart (he'd kiss the family's pictures goodnight before going to bed). He loved fishing and teasing some of us about some of his favorite foods (which I called fish in a jar). Roman was a hard worker - he took amazing care of his family, home and possessions. And I'm especially proud of his service to this country in WWII (as a daughter of a Korean War veteran, I know the sacrifice and loyalty it took). He ran a solid life race and had a strong life force until the very day God called him home. To the Chuby family - my heart goes out to you for this tremendous loss. May God wrap you in his loving arms and comfort you. Love and prayers, Linda Parrish Klein
