Obituary of Richard Daniel Kniceley

Richard “Danny” Kniceley, 59, of Rivesville, West Virginia passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at his family hunting camp. He was born September 28, 1963 in Fairmont, WV a son of Bernice Lea Bragg Kniceley & the late Richard Lee “Porky” Kniceley. He is survived by his wife Susie Elizabeth Yost Kniceley of Rivesville, WV. He is survived by his son Jeffrey Kniceley of Fairmont, WV, two brothers and two sisters in laws Barry & Lisa Kniceley of Rivesville, WV and Scott & Crystal Kniceley of Morgantown, WV, several nieces & nephews and his grand puppy Cassie. Danny was currently employed as the Shop Lead for Industrial Resources in Fairmont, WV and had 33 years of service. He was a member of the Local Teamsters Union #175 as a Union Shop Steward. He was a 1981 graduate of Rivesville High School and avid WVU, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Pittsburgh Penguins sports fan. Danny loved fly fishing, hunting, and golfing with his friends and family. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating.
