Obituary of Linda Mae Nichols Brummage

Mrs. Linda Mae Nichols Brummage, 73 years of age of Fairmont, WV entered into God’s kingdom surround by her family on November 7, 2022. She was born April 2, 1949 in Keyser, WV the daughter of the late Chester and Mary Skidmore Metz. She is survived by her husband Robert Leslie Brummage, II. They were married December 9, 1972 and celebrated forty-nine years of marriage. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children; a daughter Robyn L. Brummage-Haught and her husband Matthew of Stuarts Draft, VA and her late son Aaron R. Brummage. She is also survived by two grandchildren Kyle Haught and Hannah Haught; one great grandchild Emmorett Brummage; one brother David Metz; three sisters Patty Kyle, Linda Bratten and Sally Stanton and two special friends Marcella Yaremchuk and Linda Brown. She was also preceded in death by a brother Richard Metz. Linda was a graduate from Valley High School in Lonaconing, MD. She retired with forty-two years of service in the medical profession with billing insurance and coding. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a faithful and an active member of her church. She was a past president of the WV Professional Woman’s Club of Fairmont and enjoyed spending time with her friends of the Red Hat Society. She was a volunteer with the Salvation Army. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV on Thursday from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jackie Chambers presiding. The interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
