Words cannot express my sorrow. Judy and I attended Nursing School together at Fairmont State College. We then started our nursing careers at Ruby Hospital and car pooled. Judy fell asleep while driving home alone after a night shift. Fortunately, she was not injured. We both left Ruby and went to work at Fairmont General Hospital where Judy continued to work until retirement. We lost contact with each other when I joined the Air Force. We then connected again a few years ago via Facebook. Judy was a terrific nurse and friend and I will miss her . I send my deepest condolences to Judy’s family and all who loved her. When thinking of a moment I spent with Judy it would have to be at my 80th birthday party. Judy , my sister in-law and I just set off from the gathering and just had a sweet conversation. I will miss her at family gatherings and someone I could message and share our daily comings and going’s. Prayers for her family, and her church family. She will truly be missed.
