Obituary of Jacquelyn "Jackie" K. Blankenship Hammond

Jacquelyn “Jackie” K. Blankenship Hammond, 69, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at her home. She was born on September 30, 1953, in Waynesburg, PA a daughter of the late Jack and Lucy Pearl Blankenship. Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Richard L. Hammond and friends, Pastor Jerry and Laura Fiscus. Jackie was a graduate of Mannington High School and a retired employee of the FBI. She was a member of Living Water Church in Bridgeport and had an extreme love for her dogs. She was very creative and greatly enjoyed working on church bulletin boards and working with children. She was a very thoughtful gift giver and always made her home your home. The family requests memorial contributions be made in her memory to Living Water Church, 1000 Hall Valley Dr., Bridgeport, WV 26330. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jackie’s life at Living Water Church, 1000 Hall Valley Dr., Bridgeport, WV 26330, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Fiscus officiating.
