Obituary of Thomas Eugene Knisely

Thomas Eugene Knisely, 80, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 16, 1941 in Farmington, WV a son of the late Thomas Ira Knisely & Ruby Doris Price Knisely. He was preceded in death by his wife Toni Marie Shaffer Knisely. He is survived by 2 daughters and 2 son in laws Kimmi & Kenny Cole of Elyria, Ohio and Shelby & Jamie Kuhn of Fairmont, WV, a brother and sister in law George & Shirley Knisely of Martinsburg, WV, a sister and brother in law Doris & Ed Gump of Mannington, WV, a step son Gregory David of Fairmont, WV, 2 son in laws Randy Smith of Wellington, Ohio and Ernie Haupt of Elyria, Ohio, and several grandchildren & great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 daughters Carol Smith, Debbie Hawkins, Tammy Bledsoe, Patricia Haupt, & Tina Huey, and a sister Janet Leeson. Mr. Knisely was a retired mechanic for the Alcan Aluminum Company in Fairmont, WV with over 30 years of service. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed working on his friends automobiles in his garage, traveling, and being with family & friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
