Over the past 7 years, Terry and I became close. So close that when he was so sick last year he would message me, and cry all the while he would constantly cheer for me and my family. I supported him everyday as best I could but those demons held tight. The biggest thing to know is that he was a giver of his heart and he absolutely loved the Lord. So many times I would pray for him and he would pray for me. Without a doubt, God knew his heart and his heart was for the Lord. He wasn’t perfect as none of us are….but boy did he look to Jesus everyday. I am thankful for all the messages I have from him, pictures, etc. I thought i was losing him last year and I realized just how much his friendship meant to me. Thoughts and prayers for the family, but rest assured that God would see through his mistakes and bring him home to flee the demons. Hugs and prayers. I will miss my “forever brother….papa Smurf.”
