Obituary of Dereck James McGuane

Dereck James McGuane was born February 23, 1977 and lived in Fairmont West Virginia and passed away at his home on June 13, 2022. He was a loving and caring individual who enjoyed fishing, golfing and sports. He will be joining both of his parents, Debbie and Dennis McGuane, in heaven, as well as both sets of grandparents. He grew up in Monongah, West Virginia. Dereck was loved by many. He never hesitated to help anyone out and would always give his best in everything he did. Everyone that knew him knew that he had a big heart and that he loved the outdoors. Not only was he my brother, he was also my brother who looked out for me and wanted the best for me. He is survived by his brother Daniel McGuane in Los Angeles and his fiancée Meghan Bietz in Fairmont, WV. Both of our parents were cremated, as per their wish, and Dereck chose to be cremated as well. We miss you and love you so much Dereck.
