I recently found this obituary while searching for my high school friend, Jerry Ashby. Alena, thank you for loving my high school friend. Jerry was one of a kind and I loved him dearly, though he thought of me as his friend. He pursued military service and I was proud of my friend. Jerry deserved the best life could offer him and I am thankful it became Alena and her family. I love you, Jerry. You were my friend. Blessings to you, Alena.
