Cathy & JD so sorry for losing your mother. She was a good mother and was always so kind to me. She always welcomed me at the Rock Lake home. I’ll never forget when she drove to National Airport, now Regan Int’l, to meet me to be sure I transferred from the puddle jumper from Benedum to the big jet to Pensacola to visit my sister Carol, Sonny, John, & Jim. During my stay in Pensacola that summer your Mom & Dad came to visit too. I think Sam Jr. may have been there too. She was always so kind. I last saw her at my brother-in-law’s, Sonny’s funeral & was impressed that she was able to make it.
