I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Mary's husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family. I worked closely with Mary on-and-off through the many years she supported NIOSH. Mary was amazing. Even through her health issues, she was always responsive and going the extra mile. I knew she could fix any problem that might arise, all while keeping a smile on her face. I so admired her dedication, determination, and positive attitude. The world is a better place for her having been here. I only wish she could have been with all of you for many more years.
