Obituary of Julius M. Guiseppi

Julius M. Guiseppi, 86, of Pleasant Valley passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Fairmont Medical Center. He was born in Fairmont on February 5, 1935, a son of the late Julius and Francis Anslene Guiseppi. Julius is survived by his loving wife Barbara Henderson Guiseppi; daughters, Karen Ann Guiseppi Moffa and her husband Greg and Connie Lea Guiseppi; grandchildren, Chelsea Guiseppi Wolfe and her husband Trevor, Trevor Moffa, Tanner Moffa, Ryan Moffa, and his wife Rachel Moffa; great-grandchildren, Carter, Parker, and Garrett Moffa; and niece, Glenna Kelly and her family. In addition to his parents, Julius was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenith Guiseppi, Angelo Guiseppi, and Patsy Guiseppi; and sisters, Mary Jean Guiseppi Shaffer and her husband Richard Shaffer. Julius was a graduate of East Fairmont High School and proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked at Owens-Illinois and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, working in the yard, and sitting under his tree. The family will receive friends at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Friday, December 31, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The catholic funeral liturgy will be held in the church at 11 a.m. with Father Jojan Joseph, C.S.T. as celebrant.
