Obituary of Mary Ann Ash Haught

Mary Ann Ash Haught, 64, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 14, 1951 a daughter of the late Frederick Aldine Ash and Matilda Jane Ash. Mary is survived by two daughters, Mary Wells of Fairmont and Mandy Wells and her wife Clestina of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Iyanna, Airianna, Oretha and Maddox Wells; two brothers, Jim Ash of Apollo, PA and Eddie Ash of Baxter; two sisters, Punkin Duskey of Baxter and Doris Merrill of Fairmont; Shelly and Charlie Phillips, Trulie Ledsome and family, Freddie and David Showalter, Jim Six, Barb Copen, several cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Aldine Ash, Jr. and a sister, Betty Gorbey. Mary was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and WVU fan. She enjoyed softball, playing bingo and spending time with her family. Her life revolved around her grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville, WV 26588, on Friday, September 9, 2016, from 2p.m. until 4p.m., 6p.m. until 8p.m. and on Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 12noon until 1p.m. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1p.m. A committal service will follow at McCurdysville Cemetery.
