Obituary of Patricia "Sue" Edman

Patricia “Sue” Edman, 71, of Fairmont passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at her home. She was born in Upshur County on November 20, 1950, daughter of the late Reverend Clarence Edman and Lila Collier Edman. Sue is survived by her nephews, Bryan Edman of Fairborn, OH and Clarence “Dan” Edman II and his wife Abby of Glen Dale; great-nieces and nephews, Devon, Ashton, Nathan, Aidyn, Gracie, Ryleigh, and Levi; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brothers, David Edman and John “J.D.” Edman. Sue worked for the Marion County Board of Education as a special education teacher and bus garage supervisor. She was Methodist by faith and a member of the WCTU. Sue enjoyed traveling as well as anything and everything pink. She was an avid doll collector and dog lover. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Sue’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 122 South High St., Morgantown, WV 26501. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Barry Morrison officiating.
