Obituary of William "Bill" Fredrick Harris

William “Bill” Fredrick Harris, 52, of Rivesville passed away on December 1, 2021. Bill was born on December 28, 1968 to Wayne and Deloris Harris. Bill worked for March Westin in Morgantown for 19 years and was a member of the Carpenters Union. Bill enjoyed camping, hiking, swimming, and spending time on his boat watching his wife and son fish. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Gower Harris and their son William “Billy” Harris; brother Roger and wife Nancy of Fowlersville, MI; sister, Bernice Bachman and husband Tom of Rivesville; brother, Wayne and wife Debbie of Wayne, MI; brother, Cecil and wife Robin of Pointe of Rocks, MD; brother, Virgil of Rivesville; mother-in-law, Claida Gower of Rivesville; sister-in-law, Marcella Riley and husband Tony of Charleston; sister-in-law, Teresa Parker of Rivesville; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Harris and mother, Deloris Toothman; father-in-law, Roy Gower of Rivesville; and brother-in-law, Richard Parker of Rivesville. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 2nd and Jasper St., Rivesville, WV 26588, on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating.
