To the Family of Sam Huff:
My name is Domenico Coceano. During Sam's elementary and high school years, he was my neighbor and friend at the No.9 Coal Camp. My brother Leo (now deceased) was Sam's best friend and his oldest brother Donald was my best friend. Leo and Sam played football together at Farmington High School and during their senior year, the team was undefeated. This was the first time in the history of the Farmington High School! For a more detailed account of the relationship between Leo and Sam, you may read about it in the book entitled, "Sam Huff and the Gunner" by Seseen Francis which was published in 2012. My brother Leo continued his friendship with Sam until my brother passed away.
I have many happy memories of Sam and his family. Through the years, I followed Sam's football career as well as his life after football until he became incapacitated.
I want to express my sincere condolences to all of the family members.
